Don’t you find it strange how it’s Halloween, then you blink and it’s Christmas. Its been a hectic few weeks with lots of…..dare I say it….Christmas prep. I’ve a Christmas market looming so I’ve been preparing lots of lovely things to sell. I’m particularly well prepped with headbands especially the fox headbands which have been super popular this year.
I’ve been meeting with local businesses to find out what stock they want from me in the lead up to Christmas and it’s led to some great inspiration like the new mug hug pattern
Tuesday we had our annual Halloween party which was full of fun. This year I decided to make some pumpkins so they could be re-used every year. They were super easy and quick and turned out really well. I’ll definitely be coming back to this pattern again next year to add to the collection. I found it was a great way to use up left over yarn.
As well as pumpkins I also managed to download some really cool printable to stick on left over wine bottles to make our own potion rack. I’m a bit disappointed as, in all the chaos, I didn’t manage to get a picture of them finished. This years theme was masquerade and we really went to town!
I’ve also been doing some more work on my mini stockings which we’re using as an advent calendar this year. I’ve got to say I was worried I wouldn’t get it finished in time with everything else that I’ve had going on but I’ve managed to finish them and I’m so pleased with how they’ve turned out. The pattern will be live soon so don’t forget to like the Facebook page so you don’t miss it.
