Dartmoor Bellever Tor

Another fab day out was had today and involved my two favourite things: frugality (only paid out for ice creams and diesel!) and nature.  Today we headed into the centre of the moors and took a visit to Postbridge home of Bellever Tor.

The day involved driving up to Dartmoor and walking through the woods that led up to the Tor.  Unfortunately due to little legs we didn’t make it all the way up and instead opted on a shorter walk past the chief’s tomb and back round to the car park over the Savannah type grasses.

We managed some great pics.  As you can see Winston was thoroughly enjoying himself and acquired himself a ridiculously large stick.

Logan (middle) was not pleased at being made to sit down for a photo when there was so much running to be done!

After the walk it was back to Postbridge for much needed ice cream which we bought from the local post office/shop/ice cream shop.  I swear the building filled every need anyone could want!

Another great thrifty day out.
